The attractive ancient trulli house dates back to 1450, when it was a former ancient convent, inhabited by nuns devoted to prayer. Today, this luxury masseria serves as an idyllic Apulian retreat for families or group of friends of up to 10 guests.

Masseria Le Monache is sure to take your breath away from the moment you arrive. The classic Puglian architecture of historical trulli provides both charm and intrigue. Walk up the paved driveway through arched vines to discover a traditional yet luxurious home. Inside, a country house kitchen and dining space is the heart of the home, where soulful food can be created for all to enjoy.

Outside, Masseria Le Monache spreads across 1,000m² of land, offering a decent plot for you to call your own and relax in comfort. Crossing the small courtyard, you'll find the villa's large terrace, where a swimming pool tempts you to cool off. Long summer days can be spent here in the gardens, with a gazebo offering a perfect shady cover for alfresco meals. The masseria features an authentic pizza oven and an outdoor barbecue, ideal for those memorable summer gatherings. Comfortable lounge seating or pool loungers also provides an alternative spot to enjoy and unwind. Nestled amongst stunning botanical gardens and olive groves, it's a perfect place to relax.

As well as a second smaller outdoor patio in a semi-open trullo, there's another walled terrace with a quaint dining space. However, possibly the most unique feature of the property is the original prayer chapel, still retaining its identity for guests to appreciate the history of the villa.

Masseria Le Monache can accomodate up 10 guests across five bedrooms, each located in its own trullo building, offering a haven of comfort and authenticity. Featuring en-suite bathrooms and meticulously curated decor, the rooms are designed to provide a seamless blend of historical charm and modern luxury. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the elegant furnishings to the high-quality linens, ensuring a restful and rejuvenating stay.

For extra convenience, air-conditioning is provided throughout the villa, as well as outdoor parking for up to 6 cars. The property is also fenced and includes laundry facilities. Please note that to access Masseria Le Monache, there is a road with rocky access.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the villa, for up to 10 guests, and is offered on a self-catered basis with a daily visit from the concierge team, daily housekeeping and mid-week linen change.

Masseria Le Monache sits just outside the historic town of Martina Franca, in charming agricultural countryside that offers peaceful tranquillity amongst olive groves and vineyards.

For days out, Locotorondo, one of Puglia's prettiest cities, is just 15 minutes away. Alternatively, visit the popular "White City" of Ostuni, or the intriguing UNESCO World Heritage Site of Alberobello, famous for its iconic trulli houses, both under 30 minutes away. For beach lovers, Masseria Le Monache is around 25 minutes by car from the pristine shores of the Adriatic Sea.

Masseria Le Monache is also close to essential amenities, as the nearest supermarket is just a 5-minute drive away. While, Brindisi and Bari Airports can be reached by car in 50 minutes and 1 hour and 10 minutes, respectively.

A dedicated concierge service will be on hand daily for 4 hours per day, and 24/7 via WhatsApp, to ensure that every need is met with utmost care and attention. Whether it is to arrange restaurant bookings, airport transfer, local excursions & guides or in villa massage treatments, you will find yourself dealing with an extremely knowledgable team who will be able to assist you every step of the way during your holiday. Daily housekeeping is also included, so you can be sure that the property is being well looked after throughout your stay. You'll find luxury toiletries in every room, and linens are changed mid-week, while bath and pool towels are replaced daily. For those seeking to explore the surroundings, the property also provides complimentary bikes as well as discounts for the local beach clubs.

Should you wish to upgrade your stay to a catered one, there is the possibility to add on the services of an in-villa private chef, allowing you to relax completely. The chefs they work with aim to please with quality local produce and fresh dishes to meet your requirements.
